Job Description
I sing lead for the Whisnants.  I take care of ordering product and setting up the product table. I clean the inside of the bus.  I fill all orders from our website. Help Susan with UIA radio promotion. Suit and tie coordinator.

What’s The Biggest Challenge Being On The Road?
Living out of a suitcase.

What Do You Like Best About Being On The Road?
Seeing the country, being on the bus with people I love, eating different foods, and seeing people encouraged by our music and hopefully come to know the Lord.

If You Could Vacation Anywhere, Where Would It Be?
Hawaii. We sang there about 8 years ago. Would love to go back!

Do You Have A Favorite Date or Annual Event?
I have several. But I love Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas. We do their Bible Conference every year.

What Do You Enjoy When You’re Not On The Road?
Just being at home; mowing my grass.

What’s The Funniest Thing A Fan Has Ever Said To You?
A lady asked me one time, if Susan was my mother. Hilarious!!…sorry Sue.

What’s a Typical Day On The Road?
Sleep late. Shower. Eat some lunch. Drive to the venue. Set up product table. Get with Sue and see what color she’s wearing that night. Iron my dress shirt. Relax before time to go to product table. Put suit on. Then we pray for the service before going in to sing.

What Advice Would You Give To Someone Wanting To Be In Gospel Music?
Know that it’s God’s will for you and your family.  Have a high level of dedication. Sing or play every night like it’s your last…I believe that we’re doing God’s work and we need to give Him our very best.
